AEOcode Research
AEOcode Research studies how AI systems discover, understand, and recommend products, and what retailers can do about it. It is published by AEOcode, the AI visibility infrastructure for commerce.
Who publishes
AEOcode Research is an institutional publication of AEOcode, directed by Nicolas Leiva, CEO. Studies are produced by the AEOcode Research team and reviewed before publication. No study is published without human review.
How studies are made
- AEOcode data: catalog, query, and citation datasets
- Research brief: the question and the measurement design
- Sources: primary documentation, datasets, first-party data
- Drafting with every factual assertion flagged as a claim
- Claim verification against cited sources
- Human review, then publication
Which sources are considered
- Primary platform documentation and policies
- Public datasets and platform benchmark data
- Peer-reviewed and industry research
- First-party data from AEOcode measurements
- Unsupported or uncitable claims are not used
How claims are verified
Every factual assertion in a study carries a verification state: supported by a cited source, or pending verification. The verification summary is published with the article. A claim without a source is never presented as verified.
When studies are updated
Studies carry publication and last-updated dates. The AI Commerce Benchmark is refreshed quarterly, and its changes are published with each edition. Corrections are made to the article and noted in its update date.
